Bio: José Alvarez is a senior PHP developer at Agileana. He has worked in PHP since 2007, when a friend from university suggested he code in the language. Since then, he has graduated with a system engineering degree and developed in several different settings (e-commerce, APIs, CMS) with different frameworks (CakePHP, Magento 2, Laravel and Drupal).
José has always been interested in technology. Since he was a kid, he was fascinated with video games, desktop apps, mobile phones, and pretty much anything else that was tech. His favorite part of being a developer is working collaboratively with team members to solve complex problems.
Outside of Work: When José's son is sleeping, he enjoys playing video games (especially Diablo III) and reading. His most recent reading includes Junji Ito's horror manga collection. When José's son is awake... well, all bets are off.
